When I was twelve, my older sister decided she was going to attempt to make me a genie costume for my oh-so-awkward middle school Halloween Dance. It was made of pink and lavender satin and chiffon - I thought I looked so cool with my hair up in a tall pony tail and magical glitter splattered upon by face. But, that's not why it was so memorable. She didn't know how to install a zipper into the side seam, so the night of the dance, I put on my costume and she finished the seam while I had it on. Um, yeah, we didn't think about me having to go to the bathroom. Needless to say, I was uncomfortable the whole night, until I was home, when I ripped the costume off for some relief.
I think it would have to be when my sister Beth, my friend Laurie and I all dressed up as different colored M&M's. I still have my red one.
