Aguecko WIP

I have been slowly chipping away at this next piece. It always takes a little bit longer when you level up a creature and mark another notch on its evolutionary timeline. The last two creatures I painted did not require as much time and attention, because I had drawn them out months before. Last night I finished the under painting.

I went a bit sketch crazy with the pre production of this one, here is a peek into my process.

Moss Bear's Ghost

The paint is dry, the picture framed, and the first piece in my ghost series is complete! This is the first time I've actually thought out a theme for a show. Last year, was more of a rehearsal. I didn't really have a theme in mind, It was more of a personal challenge. I wanted to become abetter people painter and produce a significant amount of work in a specific amount of time. While this year is not a huge step up from last year (my goal is to build up a catalogue of plants, develop my creatures, and work on creating more depth to my landscapes), I still have the thread of all my creatures being ghosts tying the show together. I'm excited for what is to come!
